Logitech G933 Vs G533 Comparison Review

This article post is a comparison review of Logitech g933 vs g533, we will analyze what is good and bad on these two great gaming headsets.

Logitech G933

The Logitech G933 is a gaming headset that is great, its performance is comparable to another pricey alternative out there. It is an updated version of the G930, so it has kind of a familiar look.

The G933 is bulkier to look at, it has a coffin like shape ear cups rather that traditionally round shaped ones. The design looks old, but the lighting is great. Logitech is one of the industry’s best when it comes to lights.

The design of this gaming headset is an over-the-ear form, the cups snugs perfectly on your ears. The speakers on this gaming headset is on stereo.

The overall look of G933 is clean, the moving of the buttons to the rear helps it achieve its uncluttered look. The buttons can be customized to whatever the users like.

The plug of this headset is straight, and it is detachable. You can use it wirelessly and be free from the hold of wires.

Sound Quality and Microphone

Sound quality on the G933 is good. The oversize ear cups give a great sound, the space on those cups gives room for the sound to breathe both on gaming and non-gaming use.

Impedance is at 32 ohms and the lowest frequency is 20hz and goes as high as 20000hz. This was does not have a noise cancelling feature though.

Microphone is found on the left ear on this gaming headset. Its kind a look invisible at first glance. The design for the mic is that is retractable, and you can hide it when not in use and easily drag it towards your mouth when you need it. The microphone has a range of 100 – 1000 hz lowest to highest. It has also a noise canceling feature.

This gaming headset has a rechargeable battery, though it does not last that long on my own point of view, based on my comparison with the other competition on the market.

The Logitech G933 is multi functional, you can use it as a headset because it has a retractable microphone, good for gaming. It has also a mute function that comes handy when you want to silence something. The control panel is cleverly placed on the device for easy access.

The Good

  • Rear buttons are useful and intuitive
  • Invisible mic when not in use
  • Sound is capable

The Bad

  • Mic pics up background noise
  • A bit tight on the head
  • Battery is good but still shorter than others
